Last few days

So, may as well post on what i've been up to. Prize day on thursday night, could have played better, but i suppose it was my first time going solo with the entire orchestra. Friday was just a usual Friday, a less-workish day ending with orchestra practise, which can range from being boring to fun depending on how many people read the key signature correctly. It's all fun in the end though. Went and played footie in the freezing halls, then went home and had "chill time" for the rest of the night.
Today began with swimming training until 12, then having to tidy up my incredibely messy room for all the rowdys coming later on. The room is now pretty messy again already, within an hour of the last people leaving, but then that's just the way i am. Went for my swimming gala in the evening which we won our 2nd out of 2 this year, which is good. Came back for the party, stuffed my face, got full up, stuffed my face with pudding, got full up, stuffed my face with cake :S. Sitting here now, i look as if ive been rummaging round a rubbish heap. Graffitied arms (done by the usual culprit), and lots of icing all over my hair and face, done by anne!! She got her payback though. Now i'm just sitting here, listening to Mike Portnoy play an unbelieveable drum solo, wondering whether i should hit the pit or stay up and watch Kill Bill Volume 2. Hmmmm

Shuffling Songs

It totally bugs me now that even when i have "toggle playlist shuffling" set to on on Winamp, that it doesn't exactly shuffle properly. The music i have on winamp is in alphebitical order. At the minute if i've been listening to Dream Theatre, i'll get Dream Theatre as the next song as well. Literally out of just over a day's worth of music, not short of 400 songs, it keeps picking a song very close the the one it's currently playing to play next. Annoying...

Funk....

I rekon funk is such a groovy genre of music. The slap bass, wah wah guitar and bouncy drum grooves. This isn't the like new wave of computer assisted music, this is the raw stuff with only the above instruments that i'm talking about, like the Red Hot Chilis in the early 80's. I like many different styles of music, just decided to randomly comment on funk...yea

Blogs?!

hmmm. I don't really kno why i started this whole blogging thing, probably just to put down random stuff that I think of. Which is usually pretty random. I'll probably post like 3 times then stop but anyways...
