TV (sometimes) sucks

Well, many of us know nowadays that TV sucks bigtime. Bigtime bigtime. I don't even watch it that much anymore, mainly because i prefer to sit in front of the TV playing NHL 2005, bodychecking everybody on the ice, winning fights, and making Robert Lang score with awesome assists from Steve Yzerman. If anyone is interested in my NHL season, i am playing as the Detroit Red Wings, and i'm sitting around 8 points clear at the top of the NHL with 18 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. And it ain't on easy difficulty, so i'm happy with that one.

Anyways, back to TV. Yes it does suck, but there are still some classic shows on worth watching, so i rekon i'll post my "10 favourite TV things" (in no order):

1. 24 - I don't even watch this on TV, i buy it on DVD. Either way it kicks ass.
2. Late with Jools Holland - This guy knows how to pick good music, and so he does every Friday, from 11.30pm or whatever time it is. Enjoyable to watch.
3. The Simpsons - Whether i like it or not, The Simpsons have taught me a lot in life. Probably the same for a lot of people actually, but anyways, it is quality TV.
4. Gladiators - As everybody knows, i love it.
5. Friends - Good fun comedy with legendary characters.
6. COPS - Even though i don't watch it that much, it is quite quality. I saw a great episode last week, where some southern redneck got into an argument with a Cop for "being near her back yard" while chasing a carjacker....
7. Continental Eurosport after 10.30pm - On the UK Eurosport, after 10.30pm you get TVshop, with some weirdo trying to sell you their automatic cooking utensils or crap like that. On the continent after 10.30pm, all the regular sports go away, and you get the full on greatness of Truck Racing, Destruction Derbys, Chinsaw races, Log Rolling and big cool things like that.
8. NASN - (North American Sports Network). I wouldn't mind having that for a while actually, as i'd happily watch Ice Hockey, Basketball and Baseball. As for Yankee Football, i've only really watched it once, to laugh at them hustling each other and diving off the field to catch the ball. Actually, all American sports are funny to watch. Stuff like Ice Hockey seems to have reason too though!
9. Have I got News for You - Yea, i watch this from time to time, and the people on it are genius. Thinking up funny stuff on the spot. The guest presenters make it pretty cool too.
10. The Crystal Maze - With Richard O'Brien, it made good watching.

I guess i ain't exactly a TV buff, and i've probably missed like 20 good shows out, but what can you do?!
