So, after over a week of doing completely nothing, we were 'released' from school. However, looking back on the previous week, it's actually been quite a lot of fun just going into school and having a good time. For example, my day today began with everybody having a laugh in common room, followed by double physics, where we had multiple games of Worms on a mobile phone, which was fully class. For anybody who doesn't know, Worms is a game where worms try to blow each other up with a variety of weapons. I gave it stacks with the completely awesome banana bombs and actually won a couple! After that i had a couple of periods of not much, followed by double chemistry, where we watched Mythbusters. Then there was lunchtime with all the usual, and then we got kicked out at about 2pm. So that's L6 over pretty much. I've aleady done 5 exams, but i've seemed to have had a decent time during it.
And of course, it's taken me til now to realise that my last year in school has been a bit of a lege. As for the subjects, maths is a gift, music is music, chemistry is good & interesting (different from what i first though), and physics is...pretty hard actually. But our physics class this year was legendary, cause the majority of the class liked a good laugh (and yes, we did do a bit of work). In physics this year we've had plenty of good stuff, like the time we made a giant straw, the time we played worms, the time we all ended up in the corridor for supposedly knocking a roof tile out, the time Dr Greer let us have a paper airplane contest, and of course, the time when i did full acrobatics across the floor half way through a kicking attempt. You can ask about that one if you like.
Apart from that, we've got to smell plenty of cool chemicals, do weird things to plenty of experiments. Like the time we managed to make a crazy purple iodine type gas from heating some liquid too much. Maths we just sat there and tanked our way through problems, while Davey C told us weird things about maths, and Mr Allen slagged off the Man Utd supporters. The latter there showed us a presentation of his world trip in 2003, and it looked fully class. If interested, you can hear plenty of stories about rioting villagers, pretty much no health & safety, and apparently 'shooting cows with rocket launchers'. Then there's music which is always a right riot. We decorated for Christmas this school year, had chair tossing competitions, keyboard jam sessions on the DJ setting, and took God knows how many periods out of private study to go there and chill out.
To add to that there has been concert times, which are just legendary with their moments. Watching Fergie direct the stage team was good stuff. Oh yea, for those who were at our Easter Concert, the encore plan was to get somebody in a monkey costume to get up to the front and present all the presents, but unforunately the U6 guys got a harsh warning beforehand not to do anything :(. Ah well, next year, new principal. On the other side of things the water polo team has been good stuff this year, and you've all heard enough about swimming & bath cup etc. i'm sure.
So that's that year. Well it ain't fully over, but you get me. Too many decent times to remember actually. Although there is a video of one of our geography teachers climbing out his window, which is brilliant. Of course, the U6 are leaving, which sucks! Going to miss you guys, so we'll try to carry on the classiness that's being left. But anyways, i'm blabbing now, and i'm continously listening to the one and only Lordi! Time for bed i rekon.
