Mr Grumpy Agro Guy

If anyone hasn't heard the now pretty famous story of that guy at Translink then you are about to read it now. Bascially, i was sitting waiting for the bus to take me home at about 3.45 today when two methody girls who i knew (& who also got the bus) appeared saying they had talking to the information guy at the bus station, who had been really rude to them and told them that our bus wasn't coming. So, as we stood there thinking how the hell we were going to get home, we decided out of interest to send me to ask the guy where the bus was. So off i went.

Me: (Nicely) "Is the 22 coming today?"
Guy: (With Agro, while blowing his top as if i'd eaten his favourite cookie) "No, no there is no 22 coming today, we are on a holiday timetable, so there is no 22 coming today as there are very few schools actually on"
Me: "Well our school is still on, so where's the bus?"
Guy: (With more Agro) "If you have a problem take it with your school, we are on a holiday timetable, so don't take it up with me"
Me: "Nah you're alright. Thanks for all you help" (complete sarcasm)

After clearing off across the road to waste 60p of my money on getting a bus somewhere to get picked up, i was pretty tempted to go in and complain to the guy's face just to annoy him. The whole thing was quite funny, yet it's one of those things where there is so much more you want to say. Like i could have asked him to "take a chill pill", or asked him "What ate the icing off your cake?" After all, i only asked where the bus was. But if i had been cheeky to him, i wouldn't have been surprised if he spontaneously combusted and kicked me over the top of Cave Hill. And yes, a complaint was put it eventually. I don't want the guy to lose his job or anything, maybe he just had a bad day, but apparently he had a repuatation for doing it before, so hopefully he'll get a "little talk" and wise up a bit...or else a certain Gav will have to be sent in...

On a lighter note, carol singing was fun and Elf was way better than i expected (i was thinking it would be a really crappy children's movie, i mean come on, there are adults in full on elf costumes, but it was actually pretty funny :P) Sleep also awaits sometime later on

It’s everyone in Translink- bus drivers especially, they are just pure mean sometimes.

Ha, last time I watched Elf was in the summer, but yeah, better now, with all the Christmas Cheese
