Ages since the last post, reasons for that are i've either been too lazy or too busy, i've had a bit of both in the last month. Currently i'm pretty used to school again, and Uni applications are pretty much done. At the minute (might do a bit of tweaking), i'm putting stuff in for Human Sciences at Oxford, Music Technology at Queens, Maths & Philosophy at Edinburgh, St Andrews, Glasgow, Queens. I still wouldn't mind doing a bit of Geography, but i decided that sticking in all maths & philosophy instead of half and half would make the (annoying) personal statement easier to write. The fact is, Scotland is so flexible that i probably could go there and end up doing Chemistry & German if i really wanted to.
As for whether to go away or not, i'm still undecided. As for Oxford, i'm also still a bit undecided. Avoiding the posh colleges is pretty high up there, but the one i'm currently looking at has a good humoured website and apparently used to be a completely liberal hippy college. Intersting. One thing that stands is if i go over there and hate it, i'm rejecting it if i get an offer. On the upside, Oxford terms are 3x8 weeks, therefore i'd be home for well over half the year anyways.
So forgot all that for now, hopefully i can try make something of this year anyways. For some odd reason i'm still doing 4 subjects, but that gets me out of general studies after all! Dr Greer also pointed out to us that if we got over 250, then we are sitting on an E at A level. So basically i've passed all my A levels! Woohoo! I'm back to all the usual stuff, including my 'part time job' (haha) of giving it stacks on the drums. Friday night gig was average, though the crowd were good. Saturday night (Magill's party) was way better, and we enjoyed it at least. We even had Goggles as our 'sound advisor', which was quality.
Now i can't think of much to post about. Oh yea, Limerick was pretty quality, so i had a good time and got something out of it. We gave it stacks, if you like.
